What makeup do you use?

We use high-end, professional makeup products to ensure the best quality of luxury service. A few of our favorite brands are Charlotte Tilbury, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Face Atelier, Hourglass Cosmetics, Tarte Cosmetics. Note: We love animals, and we decided to upgrade our makeup kit and mostly use only CRUELTY-FREE professional makeup brands and products.

Do you offer Airbrush makeup application?

We no longer offer airbrush makeup, as it doesn't represent the quality of services we stand for. We use traditional makeup to create a flawless, natural/soft glam look known as our signature style. Throughout the years, we carefully selected all the high-quality products to ensure a long-lasting, skin-finish makeup look that photographs impeccably. 

Do you offer bridal trials? If so, what is the process?

We offer bridal trials before and after booking your date with us! A trial is the best time to get to know your beauty professionals, and find the ideal makeup and hairstyle for your wedding day. Most Brides come to our studio which is located in Fairfax, VA. You can expect that your trial/consultation will last 75-90 minutes makeup only, if getting hair trial too it will also be 75-90 minutes. How far advance should I book a Makeup Artist?

Honestly, the sooner the better! We would recommend to book your favorite wedding vendors including Makeup and Hair Stylist as soon as you engaged! We book weddings 1 year-1,5 year in advance.

Are you lgbtq+ friendly?

Yes! Love is love & we're here to help you celebrate your love regardless of who you love!

How far do you travel?

Wherever your wedding is taking place! We mostly book weddings and events in the Washington DC, Virginia and Maryland area, but we are happy to travel inside and outside the USA. For more information please fill out our inquiry form.

How do you sanitize and clean your makeup and tools?

The client's safety is always our number 1 priority! Ivett Beauty Co is Barbicide certified. How do we keep our kit clean and sanitized? - Makeup brushes are spot cleaned after every application. There are also enough fresh makeup brushes in our team's artists kit, so we have a fresh set to use on every client. Liquid makeup is applied to/used off a stainless steel palette. Powder makeup does not harbor bacteria so they can used from the compact. We always carry 70% alcohol spray to clean as we work.

Can I book only makeup or hair services?

Absolutely, yes! We do not require to book both services to reserve the date with us. You can book only makeup or only hair services for your wedding or special event.

Do you offer discounts?

No, we do not offer discounts.
